Project description
The aim of this project is the definition of the air conditioning and DHW production facilities of the hotel complex ‘Hotel Best Costa Ballena’, built in Chipiona, province of Cadiz. The complex consists of 7 independent buildings, with different services such as: gym, wellness, SPA, gardens, lounges, restaurants.
All the buildings are built in such a way that there is a basement/semi-basement below ground level, and three floors above ground level: ground, first and second floors. The complex is located in a coastal environment.
Results
This report is drafted for the implementation of different energy strategies to replace 100% of the hotel’s renewable solar thermal energy. To this end, a DHW production system has been designed using aerothermal systems. The proposal of the substitution strategies is based not only on energy criteria, but also on economic criteria, maintaining in any case the requirements of DHW demand and pool heating required according to the applicable regulations.
Services provided
Consulting services and development of project execution of the necessary facilities for air conditioning in the complex, including both air conditioning and ventilation of the different existing environments (rooms, administrative areas, indoor heated pool, gym, lounges, …). Likewise, both the hot water production facilities for heating the pool and the production of sanitary hot water (DHW) are designed.
