Infanta Elena Hospital in Huelva is a center belonging to Servicio Andaluz de Salud de la Junta de Andalucía. The Hospital started operating in 1985 and currently services a population over 200,000 people. From 1985 up today the building has been modfied and extended several times to reach its current configuration. New additional functional areas needed the extesion of the electrical transformer to provide the optimal electrical resource to the hospital. INGHO worked in the engineering project and construction manegement for a new electrical installation: main switchboard, internal distribution network and switchboard along the hospital.
It was a complex work where the electrical installation was modified to fit current and future needs in the hospital. The main concern of the project was related to the coordination to avoide unnecesary stops in the normal operation of the hospital. INGHO worked close to the technical services of the hospital to provide a new design to ensure the best conditions of safety and cost of operation and maintenance.
