Project description
Hospital Universitario Virgen del Rocío is the largest hospital complex in Andalusia, it is located in Seville and it is categorized as regional hospital. Its influece area is western Andalusia, Sevilla and Huelva, giving service over 500.000 inhabitants …. The hospital is equipped with 1290 beds, 54 operating rooms and more than 8000 professionals work in it. INGHO has participated in the engineering project and construction management for the refurbishment and extension of the electrical facilities and cooling production units for HVAC in Hospital de la Mujer, located in the main campus.
Results
The electrical facilities were improved to adapt to the current and future requirements. Regarding cooling for HVAC, the cornerstone was the energy efficiency with the objetive of reducing the energy consumption and the environmental impact.
