Project for the design of facilities thermal power plant for the district heating network. The district network will feed a new area in which it is planned to build 160,000m² in which 1400 homes will be built in the neighborhood called Txomin Berria, located in the south of the city of Donostia. The thermal power plant will provide heat for heating and DHW (domestic hot water) production to a set of eco-efficient and modern homes. The district heating network, which will have a length of 3.5 km, is a solution that saves energy, is more respectful with the environment and also means a lower cost for neighbors.
The use of BIM tools has allowed to solve the problems associated with the available space, in the design phase this tool has allowed the optimization of the spaces by integrating all the facilities in the same document. On the other hand, the district heating network will reduce CO2 emissions by 80% on individual heating and sanitary hot water systems, and there is a commitment that at least 75% of the energy generated will be produced with biomass.
Engineering project for all the facilities: electricity, piping and pumping system, monitoring and control, leakage detection and support facilities.
