Project description
Hospital Universitario Puerta del Mar in Cádiz is a 80.000 m2 building equipped with 750 beds and located in the center of Cádiz. It was inagurated in 1975. According to the objetives set by the Environmental Management Unit of the hospital, it was needed to reduce the energy consumption. INGHO was contracted to design a new heat production unit for the building with the objetive of improve energy efficiency and reduce the energy consumption.
Results
INGHO designed, with the support of the technical services of the hospital, a high-efficiency heating production unit, it is serviced by natural gas supply and the project got a relevant redution in operation and maintenance cost.
