Project description
The new La Linea Hospital will eventually replace the old Hospital. This is a new County Hospital, located near the Rock of Gibraltar, and that will service the population of Gibraltar area, this hospital belongs to the Andalusian Health Service. It is an impressive building that sets benchmarks in the area, both for its size and height as its social service component to the community. The layout of the building volume with longitudinal pills in different forms, which are integrated through common areas are a challenge from the point of view of facilities design. The building has been articulated in areas to ensure the highest standards of energy efficiency and cost of operation and maintenance.
Results
Facilities have been specially designed to adapt to the building architectural requirements and guarantee the energy efficiency.
Services provided
INGHO developed the project of all facilities: HVAC, electrical, plumbing, control, communications, medical gases and protect fire.
